Washington State Football Moves to 710 ESPN/Seattle
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, May 8, 2012 | 3:30pm CT

Washington State University football and men's basketball will relocate to Bonneville's Sports KIRO-AM (710 ESPN) from co-owned Talk KTTH-AM in Seattle. Bob Robertson will continue to handle play-by-play, while Bud Nameck moves from sideline reporter to color analyst. Former Cougars wide receiver Shawn McWashington will also serve as an analyst and 710 ESPN producer Jessamyn Mcintyre is named sideline reporter.

"Our first year in partnership with Bonneville provided unprecedented coverage of Cougar football and men's basketball," said WSU Dirrector of Athletics Bill Moos. "To have our games broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle, one of the strongest radio signals in the Pacific Northwest, allows Cougar fans greater access to be part of this exciting time in WSU Athletics."

"We are excited and proud to be able to provide our sports fans with Washington State Cougar football and basketball play-by-play," said 710 ESPN VP/GM Dave Pridemore. "I'm confident our audience will enjoy our expanded coverage of PAC-12 Athletics."

If a game is bumped by schedule conflicts, it will air on KTTH. WSU football coach Mike Leach will also guest weekly with Kevin Calabro and Jim Moore in afternoons on 710 ESPN. (05-08-12)
