Univision America to Air Natl. Super Bowl Broadcast

Univision America, the AM network of Univision Radio, will broadcast the Super Bowl live beginning with a special airing of its sports show "Locura Deportiva" ("Sports Madness") followed by a pre-game special and the Super Bowl broadcast. Marking the seventh consecutive Super Bowl broadcast on Univision Radio, Rafael Hernandez Brito returns to the booth to run the play-by-play and will be joined by Raul Striker Jr. to deliver the analysis.
Additionally, Univision Deportes, the sports arm of Univision Communications, has also announced its coverage plans for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. "Building on our dedicated year-round coverage of the NFL on our television, radio, online, mobile and social media platforms, Univision Deportes is thrilled to present Hispanic sports fans with a comprehensive multiplatform experience surrounding Super Bowl week in New Orleans," said Univision Deportes President Juan Carlos Rodriguez.
Univision Deportes coverage of Super Bowl XLVII will include sportscasters delivering two special reports daily from New Orleans. The morning show "Despierta America" ("Wake-Up America") will present a special report LIVE from New Orleans. Its sports entertainment program, "Republica Deportiva" ("Sports Republic"), will air live from New Orleans on Super Bowl Sunday.
The NFL and Univision will also once again team up to present the seventh annual Tazon Latino, the flag football game featuring current and former NFL players and Hispanic celebrities.
