Buckley Appoints Mary Lou Gunn as Bakersfield GM

Mary Lou Gunn is appointed General Manager of Buckley Radio's Bakersfield cluster, including KLLY, KSMJ, KNZR and KKBB. She comes to Buckley with over 20 years experience in the industry, most recently as VP/DOS for Univision's San Francisco cluster. Prior to that Gunn was the VP/Market Manager for Clear Channel's local station group in Portland, OR.
"Mary Lou has an extensive management background In the radio industry. We are fortunate to have someone with her experience to run our largest market in California. I look forward to a great relationship," said Buckley Radio Executive VP Kathy Baker.
Buckley Radio President Joe Bilotta added, "We at Buckley Radio are thrilled to have someone of Mary Lou's experience join us in this capacity. Bakersfield is a growing market and our 4 station cluster will benefit from her considerable skill-set."
Gunn stated, "I am looking forward to joining the Buckley Radio team. I am confident that stepping into this market with the team that is already established in Bakersfield will result in great things to come."
