Lance Houston Named PD 93.1 WPOC/Baltimore


Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and 93.1 WPOC, Baltimore's Country Station, announced today that Lance Houston has been named Program Director, effective March 11, 2013. Houston will oversee all on-air and digital programming efforts for the station. In addition to his duties as Program Director, Houston will host weeknights on WPOC from 7 p.m. to midnight and will continue to produce and host the daily afternoon drive show on WUBL 94.9 The Bull in Atlanta.

Houston began his Country music radio career in 1995 at WTXT in Tuscaloosa, Ala. His past experience includes roles as Program Director of WBAM in Montgomery, Ala. and Program Director of WYGC in Gainesville, Fla. Houston will join WPOC from WUBL 94.9 The Bull in Atlanta, where for the past six years he has served as Assistant Program Director, Music Director and Afternoon Drive Host.
