Univision Radio has named WADO's studio in New York, the Richard Ross Studio, in honor of Chief Engineer Richard Ross. Ross spent a great portion of his career overseeing the engineering of New York's WADO, Radio Mami and X96.3 FM and celebrates his 50th anniversary this year with the company.
"The dedication of the Richard Ross Studio is in honor of someone who has industriously worked his half century career at Univision Radio," said GM Felix Perez. "We truly appreciate his hard work in delivering on our commitment to inform, empower, and entertain the New York metro area Hispanic community. We are proud and grateful to count him as a Univision Radio colleague."
Ross added, "I am truly honored and humbled by this studio dedication. Working for a Company that exemplifies professionalism and executes such compassion towards the Hispanic community, has been an incredible experience and I look forward to many years to come."
