Borneman Exits WOR/New York as Station Manager


Steve Borneman exits as Station Manager of WOR-AM/New York after only a few months with the Clear Channel Talk outlet. He joined WOR in January from crosstown Cumulus Talk WABC-AM and Hot AC WPLJ where he served as President and Market Manager of Talk WABC-AM, Hot AC WPLJ-FM and the WABC Radio Network. Borneman was named President/GM of WABC in 2006, adding those duties for WPLJ in 2009.

Borneman also served as Local Sales Manager, then General Sales Manager of WPLJ from 1999-2004 and then LMA partner Radio Disney WQEW-AM.
