Lotus Broadcasting's KVMX/Bakersfield has flipped formats from Classic Hits to Country and rebrands as 92.1 KIX. The syndicated Bobby Bones show will handle mornings as 30+ years radio vet PD Kris Winston moves to afternoons. "Bakersfield has a lot of history with Country music and we are damn excited to be part of that," said Winston.
Meanwhile, Mel is on 10 to noon, long time Bakersfield personality Anne Kelly covers noon-3p and broadcasts from the U.K., and Cody Alan's CMT Radio Live is on in the evening.
