WPRO/Providence Announces ''Dean & Derek Show''

News/Talk WPRO-AM & FM/Providence announces a new series of shows for summer, hosted by New England area tradesmen Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns beginning May 26. Nationally known for their TV shows "Rock Solid" and "Indoors Out" on the DIY Network and their appearances on the PBS series "Victory Garden," Dean and Derek will bring to radio, for the first time, their take on everything from landscaping, to home improvements, to local food and popular culture.

Marsico said, "Summer is the prime time for landscaping and home improvements, so it made sense for us to jump on the air to help listeners with their projects. WPRO was the place to do it."

Stearns added, "Radio is just a perfect medium to put our expertise and our personalities to work. We can't wait to talk to Rhode Islanders on WPRO!"
