KKWF's Fitz Named ''Best Local Radio Personality''
RADIO ONLINE | Monday, November 11, 2013 |
Entercom/Seattle's KKWF-FM (100.7 The Wolf) morning host Fitz has once again been named "Best Local Radio Personality" by KING-TV's Evening Magazine "Best of Western Washington" competition. The contest is decided by popular vote and 2013 marks the 6th consecutive year that Fitz has grabbed the top spot in the poll. "Are you serious?" was Fitz's response to the news.
"I am so excited and humbled to receive this award," added Fitz. Seattle truly loves radio and their personalities. I compete with the most talented morning shows in the country every day. I live my emotional roller-coaster of a life on the air every morning and am so glad that my listeners take time out of their busy lives to listen and vote for me."
Fitz's show is also heard on sister KWJJ-FM (99.5 The Wolf) in Portland and the radio personality is also the host of syndicated "Powered By Country Countdown," a weekend countdown show.
