Phil Hendrie to Leave Terrestrial Radio in March
RADIO ONLINE | Friday, February 14, 2014 |
Syndicated talk host Phil Hendrie has made the decision to leave terrestrial radio. In a post on his website, Hendrie said he's making the move in order to have time to focus his energy on his successful podcast and other ventures in media. He will also continue doing "The World of Phil Hendrie Show" on TuneIn, iTunes, the Sideshow Network and philhendrieshow.com. The last day of "The World of Phil Hendrie" terrestrial radio broadcast will be March 14.
"The digital world is where we have made our living the last 7 years so as radio attempts to find itself we'll put our energy in our digital & online product, our animation project, my one man show and of course TV and film opportunities wherever they may occur," said Hendrie. "To our fans, we haven't gone anywhere. Our daily show will continue on Tune In, iTunes, Sideshow Network and www.philhendrieshow.com following the conclusion of our terrestrial presentation."
