Steele Reunites with Scott Shannon on WCBS-FM

CBS Radio's WCBS-FM/New York adds market veteran Patty Steele to the new "Shannon in the Morning" show featuring Scott Shannon, weekdays from 6-10am, effective March 27. Steele will provide listeners with news and entertainment reports, and is joined by Mr. G providing weather updates and Joe Nolan with all the latest traffic information for morning commuters.

WCBS-FM Program Director Jim Ryan commented, "Patty is not only a fun, compassionate personality, but one of the most credible news people in New York. That combination, along with her chemistry with Scott, makes her the perfect person for this show. We are so excited to bring her to CBS-FM."

Steele has worked extensively in New York at WABC-AM, WCBS-AM, WHTZ-FM, WOR-AM and WPLJ-FM. She's also held on-air stints at stations in St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Washington, DC and Baltimore.
