iHeartRadio Hispanic Network Adds Grupo ACIR

Clear Channel has announced the expansion of its iHeartRadio Hispanic Network with the introduction of Mexico's Grupo ACIR, which owns and/or operates more than 55 stations across Mexico. Most of these stations will be available on iHeartRadio everywhere it is offered. The addition of ACIR's stations to iHeartRadio will provide listeners with instant access to some of the most recognized Mexican national radio brands.

Listeners will also have access to top Hispanic personalities like Alejandro Villalvazo, Antonio de Valdes, Charo Fernandez, Sofia Sanchez Navarro, Inaki Manero, Rocio Cordova, Carlos "Chicken" Munoz, Carlos Martin Huerta, Jose Martin Samano, Alex Montiel, Pepe Segarra, Arturo "Rudo" Rivera and more. In addition, iHeartRadio will stream select local ACIR stations such as "Siempre," Mexico City's music, news and sports station and "La 1260," Mexico City's AM News/Talk station.

Clear Channel will also become the digital ad sales provider for these Mexican stations replacing all local Mexican station ads with consumer-targeted U.S. ads. Serving Hispanics across the U.S., the iHeartRadio Hispanic Network includes a unique collection of assets providing advertising partners large-scale reach to nearly 93 percent of the U.S. Spanish and English-speaking Hispanic population.

"We are excited to offer our listeners and advertising partners more availability to high quality Hispanic programming through iHeartRadio," said Clear Channel Networks Group President Darren Davis. "We look forward to expanding the reach of ACIR's stations and providing listeners seamless access to them anytime and anywhere they are across the U.S."

"We are very happy that our stations will be available on the iHeartRadio platform and that we can reach the growing Hispanic community in the U.S.," said ACIR VP/General Manager Antonio Ibarra. "We are sure that listeners will enjoy our content and look forward to a successful partnership."
