Emmis, Beasley Further Deploy Jelli Ad Platform
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, August 19, 2014 |
Jelli, a programmatic ad platform for radio, has announced that it has signed agreements to deploy RadioSpot, its cloud-based ad server for broadcast radio, with Emmis-owned WBLS-FM/New York and Beasley Broadcast Group's WJBR-FM/Philadelphia, WQAM-AM/Miami and KKLZ-FM, KOAS-FM, KVGS-FM and KCYE-FM/Las Vegas. RadioSpot automates radio advertising, combining the technology of online ad-tech with the significant reach of terrestrial radio advertising.
The ad platform also integrates with advanced buying and planning tools and supports all major third-party broadcast traffic systems. It's now deployed at over 400 radio stations in over 185 cities with a weekly reach of 60 million. The deployments signal the expansion of Jelli's platform in the top-ten markets of New York and Philadelphia and the addition of new markets Miami and Las Vegas.
"The benefit of deploying Jelli's RadioSpot at another one of our New York stations is significant. We installed RadioSpot at Hot 97 earlier this year and the team has had a positive experience with the platform's ability to serve ads programmatically," said WBLS-FM (Hot 97)/New York Director of Sales Doug James. "RadioSpot has removed the hassles that come with the old-school methods."
"RadioSpot enables broadcast radio to keep pace with needs of marketers in the age of programmatic advertising, maintaining radio's position as the most vibrant and effective medium for national and local advertisers," said Jelli CEO Mike Dougherty.
