WEEI/Boston Expands NFL Coverage

Sports Radio 93.7 WEEI and the WEEI Sports Radio Network today announced their final line-up of 2014-15 NFL analysts. The group of on-air contributors is the most extensive in the station's history and includes both present and future hall-of-famers as well as some of the most respected NFL journalists in the country.

Returning to WEEI are New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick for their exclusive, post-game weekly appearances every Monday morning and afternoon respectively. Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, defensive end Chandler Jones and All-Pro defensive tackle Vince Wilfork will also make weekly Monday appearances on WEEI throughout the season, while Pats linebacker Jerod Mayo will be a Friday regular on the station.

New this season are former Patriot Pro Bowlers Rodney Harrison, Tuesdays and Fridays on the station, and Tedy Bruschi, Monday afternoons. They join another new addition, Hall of Fame wide receiver and NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin, who will appear Friday afternoons on WEEI. Sports Illustrated NFL analyst and award-winning columnist Peter King, WEEI.com Patriots beat writer Chris Price, ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter, NFL.com fantasy football expert Mike Fabiano and Tom E. Curran of Comcast Sports all round out the station's weekday cast of pro football experts.

WEEI's NFL coverage extends to the weekend with Rodney Harrison's Safety Blitz program Saturday mornings. Sunday programming includes The Fantasy Football Hour, as well as in-depth pre and post-game Pats coverage featuring Steve DeOssie, Chris Price, Greg Dickerson, Fred Smerlas and Butch Stearns. And again this year, WEEI is Boston's home for NFL play-by-play with Monday, Thursday, and Sunday Night Football plus select Sunday afternoon games as well as the conference playoffs and Super Bowl XLIX.
