AudioHQ, a digital audio ad sales company, has entered the digital audio advertising marketplace. The company is focused on developing a premium and exclusive advertising platform that connects advertisers with digital audio ad inventory and integration opportunities. AudioHQ's is headed by founder/CEO Matt Cutair, who previously held the role of Sales Manager at Pandora and subsequently moved onto Westwood One to head up their digital division as VP/Digital Sales & Operations.
The company has announced an exclusive audio ad sales partnership with 8tracks, a popular streaming music service. 8tracks currently reaches 8 million listeners per month worldwide. "We are very excited to be partnering with the talented team at 8tracks to bring compelling advertising opportunities to the market which we believe, based on 8tracks' hyper-focused millennial audience, will be extremely valuable for our advertising partners" said AudioHQ's CEO Matt Cutair.
8tracks CEO David Porter added, "As listening shifts away from the desktop, a relevant, well-crafted audio product is the natural step in the progression of our business model. We look forward to taking that step with Matt and his experienced team."
Industry vet Jeff McCarthy, who is the company's Chief Revenue Officer, has joined Cutair. McCarthy has 20 years of national audio sales experience and spent the last 18 years at Westwood One (formerly Dial Global). "At AudioHQ we are more than just a sales representation firm to our publishers, we are a true extension of their in-house sales and product teams. This allows us to bring a true integrated sales approach to our advertisers which we believe is critical in today's media landscape" said McCarthy.
