Westwood One Extends Partnership with Dr. Oz
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, September 18, 2014 |
Westwood One announces it has extended its partnership with Harpo Studios and Dr. Mehmet Oz for the daily one-minute feature, "Daily Dose with Dr. Oz." The feature airs on nearly 150 stations and in six of the top 10 markets. Dr. Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon and host of the syndicated "The Dr. Oz Show," won his third Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Talk Show Host this year.
"Not a day goes by that I don't get positive feedback from listeners of Daily Dose. My goal is to spread the message of good health -- body, mind and spirit. Syndication with Westwood One helps to expand that message to an attentive and diverse audience," said Dr. Mehmet Oz.
"We are delighted to continue our partnership with Dr. Oz," said Bart Tessler, EVP, News & Talk for Westwood One. "He's a brand and a voice that people trust for great insight. They seek him out and we are happy to oblige. We love being able to connect our listeners to content that can improve their lives."
