iHeartMedia has received the Gold Award for Audio Campaign of the Year from Modern Healthcare and Advertising Age's inaugural Healthcare Marketing IMPACT Awards. They had partnered with The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Weber Shandwick and the Media Partnership Corporation (MPC) to develop and execute a radio media plan that increased awareness and enrollment for health insurance through www.healthcare.gov.
The targeted, high-frequency radio campaign aired during the www.healthcare.gov open enrollment period of October 15, 2013 to March 15, 2014 and reached more than 14 million listeners across the country. Enrollment figures increased by an average of six percent in states where the program aired.
Modern Healthcare and Advertising Age's Healthcare Marketing IMPACT Awards honor healthcare organizations and their agencies that effectively and ethically communicate complex healthcare issues and/or technologies, while engaging their target audience and delivering impactful results.
