Cumulus, WO Partner to Offer Backstage at the AMAs


Cumulus and Westwood One provide audio coverage from the Westwood One Backstage at the AMAs Radio Row on Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22, leading up to the 2014 American Music Awards. The event is being held on Sunday, November 23 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles and broadcast live at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. The 2014 AMAs, hosted by Pitbull, will feature performances by Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Fergie, 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and One Direction.

During this special backstage event, Westwood One will debut its Red Carpet Radio brand. "Red Carpet Radio" is the umbrella platform for the company's behind-the-scenes coverage of year-round entertainment award shows. Red Carpet Radio brings red carpet moments to life, offering broadcast partners and advertisers access to live broadcasts, exclusive content, celebrities, backstage performances, social media buzz & parties and events.

Backstage at the AMAs Radio Row is two days of live broadcasts with 25 radio stations from across the country representing multiple formats, with an array of hosts, presenters, and performers mingling backstage. In addition to affiliated stations Backstage at the AMAs, several Cumulus and Westwood One programs and personalities will be broadcasting Live from Radio Row, including NASH Nights Live, Zach Sang & The Gang, The Bert Show, NASH/America's Morning Show, and Nights Live with Adam Bomb.
