Santos Named APD of El Zol 107.9/Washington DC

CBS Radio/Washington, DC announces that on-air personality and programmer Tony Santos has been named Assistant Program Director of CBS Radio's El Zol 107.9FM. Santos begins his duties on December 1, 2014.
"I'm pleased that Tony will be helping to lead our programming team at El Zol," said Pete Manriquez, Program Director of the station. "In addition to his management responsibilities, Tony will also be handling the midday on air show from 10am-2pm. I've worked with Tony in the past and I'm thrilled to have him join our team," said Manriquez.
Most recently, Santos was President of Intense Norcal Promotions in Sacramento, CA and Program Director for Retail Radio. Prior to that he was an on-air personality and Program Director for WJKC 95.1, WMYP 98.3, and WSTX 100.3 in St. Croix, Virgin Islands (2009-2013). He also was Associate Program Director for Univision Radio's WCAA 105.9 in New York (2007-2009), On-Air Personality and Program Director for Univision Radio's KLLE 107.9 in Fresno, California (2005-2007) and Morning On-Air Personality for Citadel Broadcasting's KWIN 97.7 in Stockton, California (2003-2005).
