Jim Ed Norman to Keynote A&O&B Pre-CRS Seminar
RADIO ONLINE | Friday, December 19, 2014 |
Jim Ed Norman is set to keynote Albright & O'Malley & Brenner's 21st Annual Pre-CRS Seminar. The Grammy winning, multi-platinum selling producer, who is also CEO of The Curb Group, will share his insights into the current state of the Country music industry, the future of the format and share a few entertaining stories from the past. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, February 25 at the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall in Nashville.
A&O&B partner Mike O'Malley said, "Jim has been in the middle of at least four country music revolutions-from the days of Anne Murray and Kenny Rogers to Randy Travis and Dwight Yoakam to Garth and Trisha and now in the latest boom with new artists like Dylan Scott and Tim Dugger. He's seen it all, knows what works, and I can't wait to hear what he has to teach us. And yes, I want to hear some of those stories, too."
The A&O&B team will present the first results of their 10th annual online perceptual study, "Roadmap 2015," including Country P1 trends in music, digital consumption, social networking and more. Plus, data from thousands of P1's from across the U.S and Canada will be included.
Guests at the seminar will also enjoy a live performance and meet & greet with Republic Nashville's new group A Thousand Horses. The group will perform songs from their new album "Southernality."
"Over the past years our presenters have included branding experts, talent coaches, researchers and even a politician," said partner Mike O'Malley. "It's a half-day of thought-provoking and actionable sessions that help set the stage for CRS."
Brenner added, "Today's hectic and demanding schedules often prevent valuable Face time with peers. This is an opportunity to share, learn, grow and reenergize for the new year."
