Cari Kates Departs EMF as MD for New RPG Company

Cari Kates departs Educational Media Foundation's Christian networks K-Love and AIR1 as Music Director. She's exiting the broadcaster to start a promotions and marketing company, Regional Promotions Group, effective April 2. The firm is comprised of best known names in CCM format, with each focusing on a different region of the U.S.
Kates will handle the western regional, while Lori Cline will be based in Little Rock overseeing the southwest. Morgan Wood is based in Minneapolis and handles the north central area and Jason Miller will oversee the southeast out of Nashville. Finally, Al Kim, returning from a sabbatical, will be based in Connecticut with responsibilities for the northeast.
