Cumulus elevates 40-year programming veteran Mike McVay to Senior VP/Content & Programming. Concurrently, Cumulus has extended its long-term contract with McVay, who has served Cumulus as Senior VP/Corporate Programming since September, 2011. During his long career, McVay launched several nationally syndicated programs. He's also programmed more than 800 stations around the world, including stations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the UK and Australia, among others.

In 1984, McVay and his wife Doris McVay launched McVay Media, a programming consultancy recognized around the world as the leader in its field. He has also owned or managed radio stations in Honolulu, Cleveland, Naples, Key West and Flint, MI. McVay was also one of the founding partners of Listener Driven Radio.

Executive VP/Content & Programming John Dickey said, "This title adjustment reflects the job that Mike's been doing. This move acknowledges his value to the company. We hope to have Mike with us for many years to come."

McVay added, "I'm thrilled to continue to work for John and Lew and with the entire corporate programming team. Cumulus has added, and continues to add, some brilliant minds to the management and programming teams. The platform we have, the products and brands we're developing, and what's on the horizon makes this one of the best companies to work at in this industry... worldwide. We're having fun."
