Yahoo! Sports Radio Launches on KMZQ/Las Vegas

Yahoo! Sports Radio is entering the Las Vegas market with a new affiliate. Beginning June 1, KMZQ-AM (670 The Score) will feature Steve Czaban, "Prime Cut" with Sean Salisbury and John Granato, the evening rotation of Leigh Steinberg, "Ballin' Live," Talk of Fame's all-star lineup and The Big E, Tony "D." The now local and national Sports X Radio featuring Ken Thomson live from the Yahoo! Sports Radio studio continues at the Palazzo Las Vegas.

Weekends will feature the network 24/7, as well as UCLA, Broncos and 49ers football. This news comes in conjunction with the announcement of Yahoo Sports Radio's second annual SuperWeek live from Palazzo Las Vegas, July 13-17.

"We have had a significant presence in Las Vegas through our great partnership with the Palazzo," said Yahoo! Sports Radio CEO David Gow. "It's so exciting to welcome our newest Las Vegas partner and to build on our deep connection with the market through a terrestrial signal. It's going to be a big win for everyone."

KMZQ Executive VP/General Manager Marty Basch stated, "Yahoo has built locally-rooted connections with their national programming across the country, and we're excited to be an integral part of their Las Vegas presence. From special events, like SuperWeek, to nightly broadcasts with Ken Thomson in the all-glass studio, this is a great opportunity for AM670 and its listeners to connect locally, get their national sports information, and be represented nationwide."
