Daughtry Discusses His Career at Conclave 40
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, May 28, 2015 |
The Conclave Learning Conference will feature recording artist Daughtry in a BMI Storyteller's event Friday, July 17, to conclude the two-day Conclave #40 in Minneapolis. Chris Daughtry first gained national attention auditioning before the judges on Season 5 of "American Idol" and went on to be in the final four of that year's competition. In 2006, Daughtry signed with RCA Records and began a career that has been full of highlights.
Conclave Board Chairperson Lori Lewis said, "Much of what we do in radio is storytelling. From the talent sharing experiences on-air each day, to account executives talking about the power of radio to advertisers, we tell stories. So I couldn't think of a better way to close out Conclave than with an intimate Storytellers session featuring Daughtry, who is one of the best musical storytellers. Thanks to BMI for making this happen."
