iHM Gets New Hispanic Brand Management Team


iHeartMedia announced today its new Hispanic Brand Management team. The team will be led by Ricardo "Gonzo" Otero (pictured), as the new Hispanic Brand Manager and will also include Ray Hernandez and Raymond Torres as Brand Coordinators.

Together, this team will provide iHeartMedia's Hispanic brands with unparalleled strategic guidance and product leadership, as well as connect key advertisers with iHeartMedia's unmatched Hispanic audience. Otero, Hernandez and Torres will also develop Hispanic-specific contest opportunities as well as be heavily involved in the planning and execution of the second annual "iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina" this fall.

"At iHeartMedia, we recognize the critical importance of hispanic programming and are creating systems to ensure it's growth. Under Ricardo's leadership the Hispanic Brand Management team will continue to expand and strengthen iHeartMedia's brands by providing stations with the best programming and content available to the format," said Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms, iHeartMedia.

Otero will continue as the Operations Manager for the La Preciosa Network and Program Director for La Preciosa 92.9 in Fresno. Ray Hernandez will main maintain his role as Program Director for WMGE in Miami, and Raymond Torres retains responsibilities as Program Director of WRUM in Orlando.
