Beasley Welcomes Tim Huston as Greenville NC GSM


Beasley Media Group appoints Tim Huston as General Sales Manager for the company's six-station cluster in Greenville-New Bern-Jacksonville, NC, including WSFL-FM, WIKS-FM (101.9 Kiss FM), WMGV-FM (V 103.3), WXNR-FM (99.5 The X), WNCT-FM and Beach Boogie & Blues WNCT-AM. Most recently, Huston was with Merlin Media/Chicago as Local Sales Manager.

Huston started his career in Chicago working in programming at WLUP-FM (97.9 The Loop FM) and WMVP-AM owned by Evergreen Media. His sales career began at WXCD owned by ABC Radio, also in Chicago. From there, he moved to Michigan where he spent time as a Market Manager for Cumulus Media. Additionally, he was employed by Citadel Broadcasting as a Sales Manager in several of their markets.

"It been a great ride and I've been able to hold onto my valued mentors through all of this," said Huston. "I've worked with some of the legends in the business which makes it even more enjoyable. Clearly, this industry is in my blood and it's filled with excitement every minute of the day. My family and I are excited to move to the warmth of North Carolina. The Beasley Media Group has a fantastic reputation and I am so impressed to work with this company, which is filled with such great talent."

Huston will be based in the Greenville office, reporting to Director of Sales John Sheftic, who said, "I couldn't be more pleased to find a GSM with the innovative ideas and skills to implement not only our market-leading broadcast assets, but also our state of the art digital properties."
