John Landecker Leaving WLS-FM/Chicago
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, July 28, 2015 |
It's hard to even think the name John Landecker without immediately thinking of Chicago's WLS. At age 68, the legendary DJ is calling it quits and resigning from his 8-11pm night shift on Cumulus's WLS-FM. Friday will be his last day on the station. Reportedly, it's the first time Landecker has voluntarily left a radio station without having another job lined up. He's been on WLS-FM since 2012, but is probably best known for his tenure at WLS-AM during the 1970s.
