Bonneville/Phoenix has announced that longtime Arizona's Morning News anchor and Arizona Broadcast Hall of Fame inductee Ned Foster will be retiring at the end of November. Foster's last day on air will be Wednesday, November 25. A Massachusetts native, Foster's radio career has spanned more than forty years at heritage stations across the country, including WBOS-FM, WUNR-AM and WBZ-AM/Boston, WOWO/Fort Wayne, KFWB-AM/Los Angeles and KOY-AM, KTAR-AM and KTAR-FM/Phoenix.
"It's hard for me to believe how fortunate I've been and how much fun I've had," said Foster. "I am humbled and gratified beyond words that so many people over so many years found it worth their while to tune in. Thank you!"
"Ned is the consummate news man and he's had an absolutely remarkable career," added Bonneville Phoenix VP/Content and Operations Ryan Hatch. "We can't thank him enough for helping Arizona commuters get to work informed and on-time each morning."
