iHeartMedia/Denver names Crystalyn Portwood as Director of Sports Sales, effective August 8. She will handle sports sales for iHM's Denver outlets, along with the Rockies, Broncos and Buffs radio networks. Portwood previously served as Local Sales Manager at News/Talk KMOX-AM/St. Louis for CBS Radio under then GSM Tim Hager and assumed the role of GSM when Hager departed for the role of Senior VP/Sales for iHM/Denver.

"I am excited to be a part of the innovative, client-facing team at iHeartMedia Denver. It is an honor to work with iconic brands like 850 KOA, 103.5 The Fox, The Broncos and Rockies Radio Networks at iHeartRadio," said Portwood. "I look forward to joining the passionate team in Denver that dominates the market and leads the industry. I am eager to make an immediate impact in Denver with the knowledge and experience I have gained in St. Louis."

"Crystalyn Portwood has an extremely strong talent for delivering ROI. I am thrilled to watch how her talents combined with the unparalleled capabilities of iHeartMedia are able to take our partners to the next level," added Hager. "Crystalyn has a unique skillset that will contribute mightily to our organization. I know that the team and partners in St. Louis will miss Crystalyn incredibly, but iHeartMedia Denver has gained a great asset by having her join our team."
