CBI National Student Production Awards Finalists

College Broadcasters Inc. (CBI) has announced the national finalists in the 2015 CBI National Student Production Awards. Awards will be presented as part of the fourth annual National Student Electronic Media Convention, to be held Oct. 22-24 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. The National Student Production Awards honor outstanding student work in electronic media, and include more than 20 submission categories: promos, news reporting, best air talent, comedy, entertainment, many sports categories and more for video and audio as well as general categories in station imaging, website design and Social Media Presence.
Four finalists were chosen in each of the 24 categories, out of nearly 900 submissions. Winners and finalists will be honored at the awards presentation. Reg Chapman, a reporter with WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, will serve as emcee of the ceremony, which will follow the convention keynote with Clint Forry, vice president of Weber Shandwick.
