KOAI/Phoenix Appoints Holly as Program Director
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, September 3, 2015 |
Riviera Broadcasting appoints veteran Phoenix programmer Shaun Holly as Program Director of the Valley's newest station KOAI-FM (95.1 & 94.9 The Oasis). Holly is a long time Valley resident and broadcaster arriving in Phoenix in 1984 from Dallas. His radio career includes on-air work at KLITE, KOOL, KKFR, and KMLE before assuming programming roles at KMLE, KOOL, Eagle (now Mix 96.9), KEZ, KYOT and KNIX followed by the Director of Programming position at then Clear Channel's 8-station cluster there.
In 2006, Holly accepted a consulting role for Great Circle Radio, a 6-station group in Flagstaff-Prescott, eventually becoming a co-managing partner. Most recently, he was the Operations Manager for Journal Broadcast Group's 4-station cluster in Tucson. "While the multi-station management experience in Flagstaff and Tucson was invaluable, my heart is in the Valley. It is home, and it's great to be back. I'm excited to join Riviera Broadcasting in the programming role at KOAI," said Holly.
COO Jose Rodiles added, "We're delighted to have Shaun lead KOAI-FM into the future. His experience, track record, and reputation speak for themselves."
