The Wolf/Orlando Goes Commercial-Free for Labor Day


JVC Media's Country WOTW-FM (103.1 The Wolf)/Orlando plans to celebrate the working men and women in the U.S. with commercial-free Country Throwbacks and Icons all Labor Day weekend. The weekend, in partnership with BurnFatOrlando.com, will feature non-stop Country music hits from the legends that made the genre, including Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Alabama, Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson without interruption from September 4-7.

103.1 The Wolf PD MurphDawg said, "103.1 The Wolf is proud of the heritage of country music which is why we play Country Hits and Throwbacks on a daily basis. or Labor Day weekend, as we celebrate the hard work that built America, we wanted to showcase the icons of Country music that built the format into what it is today."

General Manager Chris Ganoudis added, "Prior to 103.1 The Wolf debuting in December of 2014, many of the great artists that made Country music a powerhouse today, have been totally ignored by Orlando radio. We've been welcomed with open arms in Central Florida. It's time to give back and celebrate Labor Day with the Country music that our listeners want to hear... completely commercial free."
