Red Zebra Broadcasting's WTEM-AM (ESPN 980)/Washington, DC, "The Home of The Redskins," in partnership with AudioNow Digital, has launched a mobile app that will allow fans to hear play-by-play game coverage, along with live and on-demand sports/talk shows from its lineup. The app is designed to bring DC sports fans breaking sports news as it happens.

"The ESPN 980 App is another excellent way for us to connect with our audience," said Director of Programming Dan Zampillo. "We are thrilled to have this partnership with Audio Now, which allows us to bring listeners closer to the best sports radio in DC."
"Washington's sports fans are among the most passionate, informed, and vocal, in the country," added AudioNow Director of Digital Partnerships Rebecca Walker. "This app enables them to stay in much closer touch with their favorite station, giving opinions, and receiving updates, when they?re away from traditional radio or even outside of DC."
