KXNT-FM/Las Flips to ''The All New Q100.5''

CBS Radio's KXNT-FM/Las Vegas drops its simulcast with News/Talk KXNT-AM (840) and flips to Rhythmic AC as "The All New Q100.5," with the slogan "Playing Today's Rhythm and All The Best Old School." The new station kicked off at 9am this morning with Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It." The new Q100.5 will play artists such as Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, and Old School Jams from artists like LL Cool J, TLC, Dr. Dre and more.
The AM station will continue to broadcast News/Talk programming, including live, local, news and personalities including Rush Limbaugh.
"100.5 is a powerhouse signal, and we're excited to feature its own unique sound and music brand. Plus 840 is the premiere frequency on the Las Vegas AM band and is the ideal home as we continue our enduring commitment to providing the region with the best in news and opinion," said Senior VP/Market Manager Tony Perlongo.
