KTWI (Mix 94.3)/Liberal KS Wins First BOOM Contest

The first annual BOOM American LPFM Audio Processing Contest has concluded. Congratulations to the winning station, KTWI-FM (Mix 94.3) in Liberal, KS, who was judged as "Best Sounding Station" for 2015 by judges Jerry Clifton, Tony Gray, Leif Claesson, Mike Erickson, Paul Hollings, Jesse Graffam and Stephen Bishop.
The winner will receive a dbx286s from BSW (Broadcast Supply Worldwide), a licensed copy of Raduga Universal Radio Automation from SpryNet, two name, city or station shouts from Tony Griffin Productions, a page of voiceovers from Jeff Laurence and from Diane Merritt.
"Special thanks to our LPFM supporting sponsors and judges for making all of America's LPFM sound better. Every station who participated is a much better sounding station today because of them and we are grateful," said event coordinator and LPFM-AG Executive Director Dave Solomon. "This will be even bigger next year."
