RADIO ONLINE | Friday, February 5, 2016 |
United Stations Radio Networks (USRN) adds Marci Braun to the air staff of its weekly Country music program "Serving Your Country." The show, which debuted in the spring, 2013, is hosted by WUSN-FM/Chicago morning man Ramblin' Ray Stevens and is a two-hour weekly broadcast that mixes contemporary Country music with stories, salutes and requests for the U.S. military, veterans and first responders.
Braun's role on the program begins immediately and she will be anchoring feature segments, introducing listener call-ins, reading letters posted to the show's web pages and also sharing other military-themed content. Braun is the Music Director and Assistant PD at CBS Radio's WUSN (US-99.5). The Chicago got her start in radio at WNCY/Green Bay, WI, in the mid-90s. She arrived at WUSN in 2004 as MD/APD and she has done a variety of on-air shifts at the station.
