iHM/San Diego Launches Hip Hop ''JAM'N 95.7''

iHeartMedia/San Diego flips Rhythmic AC KSSX-FM (95.7 Kiss FM) to "JAM'N 95.7," with the slogan "Today's Hip Hop and R&B" under veteran programmer Rob Scorpio. The station is airing non-stop music through the Memorial Day Weekend. "JAM'N 95.7" will provide listeners with current Hip Hop and R&B from artists such as Drake, Rihanna, Yo Gotti, Jeremih, Beyonce, Kid Ink, Fetty Wap, Chris Brown, Kanye West, The Weeknd, G-Eazy, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and others.
Scorpio, who is also Senior VP/Programming for iHeartMedia/Riverside, brings 20 plus years of experience in Hip Hop and Rhythmic programming, with stations KBXX-FM (97/9 The Box)/Houston, KKBT-FM (100.3 The Beat)/Los Angeles WPGC-FM/Washington, DC.

The JAM'N 95.7 on-air lineup will feature Mercedes "Cedes" Howard in middays, Frankie V (formerly morning co-host at KHTS-FM/San Diego and most recently at WJMN-FM in Boston) in afternoons, and Beto Perez in nights. Mornings will see the return of Pablo and Tati who were previously on-air hosts at XHTZ-FM in San Diego and most recently co-hosted mornings at WPGC-FM/Washington, DC, from 2013 to 2015.
