Kane Show Host Arrested for Domestic Assault
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, June 21, 2016 |
Syndicated morning radio personality Peter "Kane" Deibler, host of "The Kane Show" which originates from HOT 99.5FM in Rockville, has been arrested for second-degree assault following allegations he attacked his estranged wife. His wife was granted a temporary protective order Monday as a result of the alleged attack. Deibler, 39, is forbidden from contacting his wife, entering the home they once shared, or going near her workplace.
The Washington Post reports that in her petition for the protective order, Deibler's wife reports the couple's two children were present on May 25 when her husband "grabbed her and threw her into a wall" in an assault "resulting in a sprained knee, head injury bruises and a black eye."
A warrant for Deibler's arrest was issued the following day and served on June 17. Deibler was released the same day after posting bond. The Post reports the Deiblers have been going through a bitter divorce, which has often become fodder for Deibler's nationally syndicated radio show.
