KBEQ/Kansas City VP/P Mike Kennedy to Retire

KBEQ-FM/Kansas City VP/Programming Mike Kennedy has announced his retirement from the Steel City Media Country outlet at the end of 2016, following forty years in the radio industry. Following his retirement, Kennedy will continue to with KBEQ as its lead consultant. Kennedy was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in June, 2015. Kennedy previously served as VP/Country Programming for previously owners Wilks and Director of Local Programming for CBS Radio there.
