WGAC/Augusta Welcomes Former Mayor to Airwaves

News/Talk WGAC-AM & FM/Augusta, GA, welcomes the city's former mayor, Deke Copenhaver, to its on-air family from 9am-noon. After serving as Mayor of Augusta from 2005 to 2014, Copenhaver brings a brand of talk radio through his relationships with local, regional and national government officials, as well as high-level executive decision makers throughout the southeast. He's also a seven-time member of Georgia Trend magazine's Top 100 Most Influential Georgians.
"We are delighted to have Deke join us the on air at WGAC," said Beasley Augusta VP/Market Manager Mark Haddon. "He brings a fresh approach to the current issues of the day that are important to our local community.
