Univision Names Lara to Lead Radio as GM/Digital

Univision Communications appoints 20-year vet Jesus Lara as General Manager of Digital, Content and Entertainment for Radio. Lara will be based in Miami and will lead the company's radio business and oversee the development and implementation of strategies for digital, content creation, programming and entertainment. Previously, he has worked with media and content companies, including Viacom, EMI and most recently at Spanish Broadcasting System as Digital, Content and Culture Strategist.
"Jesus is an accomplished and creative industry veteran with an entrepreneurial spirit and a unique blend of experiences in music, marketing and digital," said Chief Local Media Officer John Eck. "I'm confident that his leadership will help propel our radio business to new heights."
