iHeartMedia Jacksonville Launches ''Rumba 106.9''

iHeartMedia Jacksonville flips WQIK-HD2 and Alternative FM translator 106.9 to "The New Rumba 106.9" with the slogan "#1 Para Exitos y Musica Variada" (#1 For Success and Various Music). The station will launch January 20 at midnight with 10,000 songs in a row, airing commercial-free. Rumba will broadcast a variety of Tropical music, including artists such asMarc Anthony, Romeo Santos, Nicky Jam, Victor Manuelle and others.
Beginning January 23, the station will also feature programs including the "Enrique Santos Show" on weekday mornings from 6-10am. The full programming lineup will be announced at a later date.
