Chase Murphy Named Mix 96.5/Houston Program Director

CBS Radio/Houston today announced that Chase Murphy has accepted the position of Program Director for Mix 96.5, KHMX-FM (Hot AC), effective today. Murphy will have day-to-day responsibilities for Mix 96.5 including digital and event creation.
"Chase is a leader, a team builder, a talent coach and a builder of brands. He is the perfect fit for KHMX, a big brand with great heritage in the Houston market," said Sarah Frazier, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, CBS Radio/Houston.

Murphy will join Mix 96.5 after stints at iHeart Media as an Operations Manager and Regional Program Director. He also spent time in Greenville with Entercom.
Murphy is also a published author of Pull the Trigger and #TryHarder as well as a blogger and motivational speaker.
