Futuri Media appoints veteran digital sales and broadcast media exec Kim Johnson as National Account Manager. Johnson has nearly 20 years experience leading digital sales for broadcasters including Tribune, Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia), Entercom and Citadel. Additionally, she's run sales for CityReach Latino, which operated out of home media in the top 11 Hispanic markets in the U.S. Most recently, she was co-founder and owner of Solidify Ventures, a SaaS sales representation firm.
"Kim is well-known in the industry as a longtime, passionate advocate and thought leader for digital revenue and audience development," said Futuri Media Senior VP/Sales Tracy Gilliam. "She has repeatedly demonstrated her commitment to both the teams she worked with, and to innovation focused on real results. She excels at communicating the true value proposition and impact of technology on today's multi-platform media company."
"I've grown up in this industry respecting and admiring Futuri's founder, Daniel Anstandig. He shares my ethics and my commitment to driving ratings and revenue for partner stations," added Johnson. "The moment I met Tracy Gilliam and the Futuri technology team, the picture was completed. I knew I'd found a dynamite team to work with. Futuri is the perfect company, combining unparalleled technical innovation with deep love and respect for traditional media. They are the real deal, and I'm thrilled to join Futuri."
