WAY-FM Adds Dean Sims as Chief Technology Officer
RADIO ONLINE | Monday, June 19, 2017 |
Dean Sims joins the executive team at Christian radio networks WAY-FM as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Dean comes to WAY Media after serving the ministry as a technical consultant for five months. Before that, he spent seven years as the Director of Global Technology Architecture at Compassion International in Colorado Springs. Sims takes the new role, effective on July 1 and reports to WAY-FM Chief Operating Officer Lloyd Parker.
"Dean fills a gap on our executive team that has been missing. As we continue to move into the digital space, having someone with Dean's knowledge base is critical for us. He's a perfect fit on so many levels," noted Parker.
WAY-FM Founder/President Bob Augsburg added, "I am thrilled to have Dean on the Executive Leadership Team here at WAY Media. Our 2020 Vision has a very big digital component and having a CTO with Dean's capacity and, more importantly, heart for ministry is a blessing beyond words. I believe God has brought him to us at the perfect time in our history."
Sims added, "It's an honor to serve with the WAY-FM team! My prayer is for Christ to increase His blessings through our ministry with the wise application of technology."
