Falcons to Remain on KVOR, KCSF/Colorado Springs

Cumulus Media enters into a multi-year partnership with IMG College to broadcast Air Force Academy athletic events. The new agreement renews a partnership with the Academy that has been in place for 35 years. Air Force football and men's basketball games will continue to be heard on KVOR-AM, while hockey games and select women's basketball games will be heard on KCSF-AM (Xtra Sports 1300). The stations will also broadcast coaches' shows for football, men's basketball and hockey. Veteran broadcaster Jim Arthur will remain as the radio "Voice of the Falcons."

Cumulus Media Colorado Springs VP/Market Manager Scott Jones said, "We're thrilled, once again, to be broadcasting the Falcons' games. Our partnership with IMG and the Academy is extremely important to our entire operation. We're honored to bring listeners the play-by-play and I know Jim is very excited to continue his work in the broadcast booth. He's one of the very best."

"We are excited to continue our longstanding relationship with Cumulus Media to bring Air Force Academy Athletics to radio listeners," said added Air Force IMG Sports Marketing General Manager Paul Woody. "Fans can continue to rely on the familiar voice of Jim Arthur to tell them everything they need to know about the Falcons."

IMG College currently represents the multimedia rights for more than 80 collegiate institutions across the country and operates the nation's largest independent sports radio network.
