The Confer Radio Talent Institute begins Monday in Pennsylvania. Pierre Bouvard, Chief Insights Officer at Cumulus Media and Westwood One, opens the the Institute, and then ten days later, Kerby Confer (pictured) will wrap things up with the closing session. This is the fourth annual Institute at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. The students were accepted from nine different universities including Susquehanna University, Penn State, Ohio University, Slippery Rock University, Robert Morris, Temple, East Stroudsburg and North Carolina A&T, as well as Bloomsburg.

Lifelong broadcaster and Forever Media Partner Kerby Confer commented, "We want to make a difference, to give back and give this next generation a good firm foundation in how the communications business works, radio, TV, internet. It's all intertwined now. I think we are going to birth a whole new generation of radio people."

Radio Imaging Specialist and national voice talent Pat Garrett, Joe Conti, President of the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters and others, join 35 radio pros who lead the sessions over the ten days from iHeartMedia, Entercom, Seven Mountains Media, Forever Media Group, Beasley Media Group, Cumulus and CBS.

Two of those radio pros include two former Confer Radio Talent Institute students who now work professionally in the industry; Gabriella Loielo, an air talent at Forever Media's Big Froggy 105.3 in Cumberland MD and Jack Fritz, Producer, at WIP CBS Sports Radio Philadelphia.

"This is the radio talent farm that we in the industry have always said we needed, and its true today more than ever," stated National Radio Talent System President/Founder Dan Vallie.
