RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, August 16, 2017 |
Amazon's Alexa has a new voice for radio -- ESPN Radio. The ESPN skill on Alexa voice-powered platform has added new ESPN skills and commands. Sports fans can ask ESPN to play ESPN Radio's national stream, as well as ESPN Deportes Radio and local ESPN Radio streams from New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Using any Echo device, fans can also get the latest ESPN Radio SportsCenter updates from the ESPN skill on Alexa and can add these updates to their Flash Briefing.
In coming weeks, the ESPN skill on Alexa will add commands supporting playback of ESPN podcasts and introduce new football scores and news skills just in time for the new college and pro seasons.
