iHM's WXDX Pittsburgh Inks Extension with Penguins

iHeartMedia's Alternative WXDX-FM (105.9 The X) Pittsburgh inks a multi-year extension to its broadcast agreement with the Pittsburgh Penguins to remain the official Penguins flagship, effective through the 2020-21 NHL season. NHL Hall of Famer Mike Lange and two time Stanley Cup Champion and former Penguins forward Phil Bourque will provide play-by-play and live analysis of each game. The station will also air the Penguins Radio Network Pregame Show, as well as the Penguins Radio Network Post-Game Show hosted by Josh Getzoff.
"I'm excited to continue our agreement with the Pittsburgh Penguins through 2021 in what remains a mutually-beneficial relationship," said iHeartMedia's Pittsburgh Region President Tim McAleer. "iHeartMedia Pittsburgh will continue to bring the most comprehensive Penguins coverage that our community and fans can find."

The Pittsburgh Penguins' games have aired on iHeartMedia stations since 1999 and 105.9 The X since 2003.
