Report: Guy Phillips to Exit KYKY (Y98) St. Louis

Longtime KYKY-FM (Y98) St. Louis morning personality Guy Phillips will exit the CBS Radio Hot AC outlet for afternoons on crosstown News/Talk KTRS-AM, reports the St. Louis Dispatch. An official announcement is expected during his show Wednesday morning. He'll leave Y98 in November with a start on KTRS set for January, 2018. Phillips began his career in St. Louis radio in 1979 with KSLQ-FM, which became KYKY in 1982.
Sources tell the newspaper that KYKY morning co-hosts Courtney Landrum, Jen Myers, Kevin Berghoff and Lance Hildebrand will take over the show.
Phillips replaces 20-year KTRS host Frank O. Pinionon, who heads to KFNS-AM on October. 2.
